Weeknights, 8:30pm

This is a 30-45 min guided relaxation. Students will be encouraged to develop an intention for the practice, and then to focus awareness on the breath, bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts. Throughout, students are encouraged to tap into an underlying sense of peace that is always present and to cultivate "witness consciousness," observing and welcoming whatever is present without getting caught up in it. 

Students are encouraged to do this lying in bed with a pillow under the knees, or lying on the floor in a very supported savasana with a blanket over top. Eye pillows or eye masks are highly recommended. 

This class is taught on Zoom through Open Door Yoga. Register on ODY's FitDegree account. You will be emailed a link for class about 30 min before it begins. If you can't make the live class, you will receive a recording to practice on your own. Sliding scale drop-in fee.
